cat2
As she ate, I could tell that she was sad.
"What's up Cat?" I asked.

the cat said
"Well you humans have voted for that guy again. I just don't believe it.
Mother nature puts her paw on the land and your whole existence has changed.
You and yours are at a fork in the road right now and don't even know it.
One of my previous lives I was from a planet that the beings had reached balance. I remember the histories
told of the beings, who not realizing cooperation with their own planet, was eliminated by the planet itself.
Bad leadership, it's time now for you humans to realize what you really need to exist.
Food and shelter. Not all that "junk" you crave."
When she wasn't looking
I kicked my girlie mag behind a painting,
that was leaning against the wall.
"I saw one of these planets in my travels, It is still there and is one of the most beautiful, in the universe, without beings like us.
That's why I always appreciated my being alive no matter what form it took.
And respected the planet I was on.
But being a cat at the beginning,
I am once more a cat at the end,
of my nine lives."
Her head turned to the floor and she looked down.
"Oh no," I said. "Your not going to start that sad song again.
Shall I tell you of this broken heart of mine.
A million thorns pierce it,
equal to the tears I shed every night to drown out the thoughts,
of her."
I was trying to cheer her up.
She laughed, a little too much.
It worked.
She always got a kick out of my misfortunes.
She cleaned herself, but I could tell her mind was contemplating "something".

Suddenly she started pacing around the room frantically back and forth.
"My last life, I should just sit this one out." that cat said to herself.
Oh no, I thought, this is going to be trouble,
for me.
"I am a cat now, what can I do?"
I looked for the catnip.
We were out.
she picked her head up and looked at me.

"Human on the planets where our type prospered the beings all came to a point where they realized what they were doing
and brought things into balance with the planet. Without regard to the leaders at the time.
Civilization did not fall apart, on the contrary, it really became a civilization.
You can only imagine the potential you have and the future ahead of yourselves.
You haven't seen anything yet.
The powers that be, tried to force the old ways back on the beings, but the
beings just naturally cooperated with each other for the benefit of all."
"I have a plan" she said. "But first, I must see what I have to deal with. "
"Human" she ordered, "try to survive without me till I get back."
She looked at me for a moment,
then before I realized what was happening,
she jumped out the window.
"Your an inside cat" I yelled.

I ran to the window hoping to stop her but she was nowhere in sight.
I screamed "No Kittens!"
